Welcome to "Putting Christ back into Christmas"
Would you like help in putting christ back into your christmas? or help in putting christ back into the christmas of those who you know? Please have a look at what we can offer in the Hamilton region, or if we can help you do someting where you live.
We are a group of people from a wide range of Churches in Hamilton (South Western Victoria). Our group formed in 2006 with the aim of helping people put Christ back into their Christmas. With the generous support of many of the Churches in the region, our activities have included:
- Christmas Alive a nativity play held in the centre of Hamilton in mid December.
- Running a Colouring in competition.
- Erecting two large nativity scenes on display in the town centre of Hamilton.
- Placing several smaller nativity scenes in local hospitals.
- Producing and distributing 20000 Envelopes and 1000 Stickers to carry our message.
- Given away hundreds of cououring in book.
- Given away a thousand brochures with the christmas story.
- Provided christmas messages from local ministers on our local radio stations.
In 2008 we will continue to develope our program and build on the experiances of the last two years to help people put christ back into their christmas.
